Accessing, Editing, and Managing Generated Visuals

Learn how to find your history, edit static visuals post-generation, and download your assets.

Updated this week

Once you have successfully launched a generation task, whether through a spreadsheet batch, the API, or an automation tool like Zapier, your visuals are created in the background.

This guide explains how to locate your new visuals, make manual edits to static designs, and access your files.

Where to Find Your Visuals

You can access your visuals at the Design level, the Project level, or the generation method level.

From a Specific Design

If you want to see the history of what has been created using a single specific design:

  1. Click on the Design you used.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click the Generated Visuals tab.

  3. You will see a list of every visual ever generated with this specific design.

From a Project (Global View)

If you want to see all visuals generated within a Project (across multiple designs):

  1. Navigate to the specific Project dashboard.

  2. Locate the Create New Design button at the top right.

  3. Click the three dots (...) button next to it.

  4. Select the option to view all generated visuals in the dropdown menu.

From the Spreadsheet Dashboard

If you generated visuals using the Spreadsheet genertion method, they are grouped by batch.

  • Go to the Spreadsheet section of your design.

  • Select your specific spreadsheet task to view the list of generated files.

  • (For a detailed walkthrough on this specific view, please check our article on Spreadsheet Generation).

Editing Visuals Post-Generation

Sometimes you might spot a typo or decide to change a color after the process is finished. If you are working with static visuals (not animations, videos or PDF), you can edit them without starting a new task.

  1. Open the list of generated visuals using one of the methods above.

  2. Click on the specific visual you wish to modify.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. This opens a Light Abyssale Editor where you can tweak text or swap images manually.

  5. Save your changes to update that specific visual.

Downloading & get the Hosting link

After locating your visual, click the three-dot icon (...) to open the actions menu.

  • Direct Download: Click "download" to save the file to your device.

  • Copy Hosting link: Select "Copy hosting link" to copy a hosted URL. This is perfect for sharing with colleagues or sending directly to tools like Zapier or Slack.

Key Takeaways

  • Use the Generated Visuals tab inside a Design for design-specific history.

  • Use the Three Dots (...) in a Project for a global view.

  • Static visuals can be edited and re-saved even after they have been generated.
