| If you've created an account on Abyssale, you should have seen this feature in action directly in our Welcome email. Abyssale includes an awesome feature allowing you to dynamically generate an image by updating its URL 😎. This feature is simply called "Dynamic image" The range of use-cases for dynamic images can be extremely wide. Ranging from custom gift-cards to celebrate your user's birthdays, to cold emails that includes personalized image for each recipients.

Create and manage dynamic images on Abyssale

||| Every single dynamically generated images will remain available/displayed even when you pause an URL or the expiration date has been reached.

Go to My template and select your template or create a template
Go to the Dynamic image tab

In this section, you can create & manage all dynamic images linked to the template.

There are no limitations over the amount of dynamic images that can be created from a template
Each template hosts its own dynamic images (Navigate to each templates to manage your associated dynamic images)

Click on the Create new Dynamic image button (a new row is added to the "Dynamic image list")

Zapier - How to get started with Abyssale

Create your first Abyssale Zap

For now, the Abyssale integration only supports the Generate banner from a template action. That means you have to first choose a trigger on the Zapier list before being able to select the Abyssale application. (the image below took the "Schedule by Zapier" as a trigger exemple).

Then, select the action you want to trigger (for now, only one Abyssale action exists):

Once you chose the Abyssale action, you will be asked to connect your Abyssale account.

Get your API key:

Go to: https://app.abyssale.com/ and log in using your email address and password.
Go to Settings > API
Click on the Request an API key button.
Copy your key
Paste it into the Zapier field.

How to import my csv file into Abyssale

Accepted Answer

CSV files can now be easily imported on Abyssale to generate your images in bulk. Let's dive into it:

Go to app.abyssale.com & log in
Go to Templates and select one from your list (if you don't have any template yet, you can either design it yourself or use one from our templates library).
Click Generate banners
A "Generation Settings" page will appear. The CSV Import file is available, just click on Select

A popup window will appear asking you to select (or drag&drop) your .csv file. As an example, you can download this file.

As mentioned in the area, the first row must contain your columns' names. If one column is empty, it will be skipped. The content inputted in other rows (row 2, row 3, row4, …) will be analyzed by Abyssale to guess which type of content it should be associated with:

Color type: Hexadecimal color (6 or 8 digits starting with a # character). i.e #EAEAEA or #FF000033
Image type: Image URL (supported types: jpeg/png and svg). i.e https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/12/13/16/21/stork-5828727960720.jpg . ||| Beware: URLs such as https://unsplash.com/photos/BkkVcWUgwEk are HTML links and not images, hence this parameter will be considered as a text type (not an image).

How to import my Airtable base into Abyssale

Your Airtable records can now be quickly and easily imported on Abyssale! Let's dive into it:

Add your Airtable API key

First go to Airtable & log in
Click on your avatar (top right of the window) and then click on Account :

On your Account Settings page, you'll find an API area. Click on Generate API Key & copy the given key (by clicking on the input).
Go to app.abyssale.com & log in.
Go to your Abyssale account Settings > Connect > Airtable; Paste your Airtable API Key in the input field and click the Save your key button.

Your Airtable account is now connected to Abyssale 🎉.

How to import my Airtable base now?

Once your API key has been successfully added to your Abyssale account.

Go to My templates
Click on one of your Template
Click on Generate banners
There are multiple creation methods available including Airtable base import. To import your Airtable data click Select

A popup window will appear asking for your Base ID & Table Name. To get these two parameters, you have to go to airtable and open the database you want to import

How to install it:

Go to the Airtable Abyssale application page & Click Install App
