Share Link Features and Use Cases
When recipients open your shared link, they'll have access to a dedicated viewer interface that offers several key features:
Design Preview:
View the design in its intended formats
For animated designs, use the video player controls to play, pause, and scrub through the animation
See the exact dimensions and format specifications (e.g., facebook-square 1200×1200)
Collaboration Tools:
Comment: If enabled, users can add comments directly on the design to provide feedback or suggestions
Generate: When permitted, users can create variations of the design using Abyssale's Quick generation features
Share: Easily reshare the design with other team members while maintaining the original permission settings
Approval: If enabled, users with the permission can approve or decline the design from this view
Multi-Format Viewing:
Access all available formats of the design from the left sidebar
Switch between different sizes and platform-specific versions (e.g., Instagram story, Facebook feed, etc.)
View format-specific details and dimensions
When a design has several formats, the link opens on the All formats view, which shows every format side by side (see "What reviewers see on a multi-format link" below)
Common Use Cases:
Get stakeholder approval on designs
Collaborate with external partners or clients
Share campaign assets with team members
Collect feedback through comments
Enable team members to create variations while maintaining brand consistency
Accessing the Share Function
There are three ways to share a design in Abyssale:
From the Design Editor:
Click the "Share" button located in the top right corner of the design editor
From the Design Page:
Navigate to the project containing your design
Click on the design to open it
Look for the "Share" button in the top right corner
From the Project View:
Hover your mouse over the design thumbnail
Click the three dots
...to open the dropdown menuSelect the "Share Design" option
Sharing Options and Permissions
When you click the Share button, a Share Design window appears ("Create a shareable link for this design") with the following options:
Access Level Selection:
Everyone at Abyssale: Share with all workspace members
Project members: Limit access to only members invited to the project
Public: Share with anyone who has the link
Collaboration Features:
Enable comments: Allow members to comment on the design
Enable quick generation: Permit members to generate visuals from this design
Share Link:
A unique link is generated for your design (e.g., abys.al/template/...)
Use the copy button to copy the link to your clipboard
Click "Open link" to test the shared design link
What reviewers see on a multi-format share link
When a design has several formats, the shared link opens on the All formats view. Reviewers see every format side by side on one board, each with a label above it showing the format name and size (for example, facebook-post 1200x1200).
The left sidebar shows the design card (its name and, for example, "Animated • 3 formats") and a Formats list. All formats is selected by default, followed by each individual format with its name and size.
Switch to a single format
Click a format in the Formats list in the left sidebar, or click the label above a format on the board (it shows "Open this format" on hover).
The format opens on its own, with the Comments panel on the right. If comments are enabled, click on the design and write your message to add one.
To go back to the board, click All formats in the left Formats list.
Zoom on the board
Use the zoom control at the bottom right of the board: Zoom out, the current zoom level, Zoom in and Zoom to fit.
Play all formats (animated designs)
For animated designs, a play bar at the bottom of the board controls every format at once:
Click Play all formats to start all the animations together. A single timeline shows the progress and the total duration (for example 00:00 / 00:05).
Use the Loop button to replay the animation.
There is no sound on the board: the volume control is greyed out. Open a format on its own to get the volume control.
