Review all your formats side by side with the All formats view

See every format of your design side by side on one board, zoom in to compare them and play animations in place.

When a design has many formats, checking them one by one in the editor is slow, and it is easy to miss a format that looks off. The All formats view shows every format of your design side by side on one board, so you can review them at a glance. If the design is animated, you can play each format right on the board.

When to use the All formats view

Open the All formats view

  1. Open your design in the editor.

  2. In the top bar, click the All formats button. It sits in the centre of the bar, right next to the Select tool (the arrow icon).

The single-format canvas is replaced by a board that shows all the formats of your design, in the same order as in the Format Manager. Each format has a label above it with its name and size, for example facebook-post 1200×1200.

The view works for static and animated designs.

What you can do on the board

Compare formats at a glance

All formats are laid out together on the same board, so you can compare colours, text sizes and element positions without switching formats. You can zoom in and out to look at the details of a format, and move around the board by scrolling or by dragging an empty area. The zoom level is displayed at the top right of the editor.

Play animations in place

If your design is animated, each format has a play button next to its label. Click it to play that format directly on the board.

  • The format label turns mint green while it plays.

  • The play button becomes a pause button.

  • A progress bar with the elapsed time (for example 3.3 / 5.0 s) shows where you are in the animation.

The animation is the same as the one you see in the single-format view.

Multi-page designs

On a multi-page design, the same button is called All pages. The board shows every page side by side, each labelled with its page number and size (for example Page 1).

Go back to editing

The All formats view is read-only. Clicking a layer on the board does not select it, and the left and right panels are hidden. To make changes, click the Select tool in the top bar or click the format label. You return to the normal editor on the current format.

Things to note

  • The All formats view is a view for checking your work. You cannot edit layers on the board.

  • The layer tools in the top bar are greyed out while the board is open.

  • Using the view does not consume any credits.

Tip: After a style change, open the All formats view to confirm that every format still looks right. See Synchronize style in the design editor.
