Why use AI-Powered Formats?
Creating a beautiful design is only half the battle; adapting it for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and display ads can take hours of manual work.
The AI-Powered Formats feature solves this by intelligently analyzing your design's structure and automatically restructuring it for any size you need.
Maximum Efficiency
The true power of this feature is its ability to handle batch processing. You can select 5, 10, or even 15 different output formats at once, and the AI will generate layouts for all of them simultaneously.
This turns a multi-hour task into a single click.
How to use AI Adaptation
To start auto-resizing your design:
Open your design in the Editor.
Click Add format in the top-left Format Manager.
In the modal window, select all the target formats you need (e.g., Instagram Story, Facebook Post, Leaderboard).
Toggle the switch for AI-powered formats at the bottom of the window.
Click Create format.
Wait for the magic to happen: You will see a loading state while our AI analyzes and reconstructs your design. This process usually takes a couple of seconds please do not close the window until the new formats appear.
AI Adaptation vs. Standard Scaling
It is important to understand which method to use for your needs:

Smart Layer Management (Hidden Elements)
The AI doesn't just move items; it makes design decisions.
If you adapt a complex desktop banner into a small mobile format (like a 300x250 ad), the AI may detect that there isn't enough space for everything. To keep your design readable and professional, the AI might automatically hide secondary or non-essential layers.
Note: If a layer seems "missing" in a new format, check your Layers Panel. It likely hasn't been deleted, just hidden (eye icon toggled off).
Cost & Credits
Currently, using the AI adaptation feature costs 1 AI Credit per action.
This means that whether you generate 1 format or 15 formats in a single batch, the total cost for that action remains just 1 credit. This makes it an incredibly cost-effective way to skip the tedious work of manual resizing.
Important Notice: Experimental Feature & Refund Policy
Please be aware that AI-Powered Formats is currently an experimental feature.
Pricing Subject to Change: While we strive to keep costs low, the credit cost for this feature may change in the future as we refine the technology and move out of the experimental phase.
Imperfect Results: Because this feature relies on artificial intelligence, results can be unexpected or require manual adjustment. The AI output is a "best guess" and may not always be 100% clean.
No Refunds: By using this feature, you acknowledge that the results may vary. AI Credits consumed for auto-formatting are non-refundable, even if the resulting layout requires manual correction.
Best Practices for Best Results
While our AI is powerful, it is not magic. Follow these tips to get the most out of your 1 AI credit :
Tighten Your Layer Containers
The AI strictly follows the constraints you set. It calculates layout based on the bounding box (the blue selection frame) of your layers, not just the visible pixels.
The Problem: If you have a small text element inside a massive text box, the AI thinks that element is huge and will struggle to fit it into smaller formats.
The Fix: "Clean" your layers before generating. Resize your text boxes and groups so they fit tightly around their content.
Use Proper Hierarchy
The AI attempts to understand the relationship between elements.
Group Related Items: If a logo and a tagline should always stay together, make sure they are grouped in the original design.
Clear Structure: A messy layer list can lead to a messy AI adaptation.
Always Review
AI results can be imperfect. Treat the generated formats as a "90% complete" draft. You should always review the output to tweak positions or unhide specific layers if necessary.
Data Privacy & Security
We understand that your designs are valuable intellectual property. We are fully transparent about how your data is handled during this process:
No Model Training: Your design data is never used to train our own AI models or any third-party models.
Anonymized & Siloed: When you use this feature, the necessary design information is anonymized and processed in a siloed environment. It is strictly used to perform the auto-formatting task and nothing else.
No Statistical Usage: We do not use your design content for Abyssale's general statistics.
Internal Logging: For debugging and service monitoring purposes only, we log usage events. This means we record that a specific
Design IDutilized the AI Auto-Format service, but we do not store the content processed during that event.
Managing AI Access (For Admins)
If you wish to prevent your team from using AI credits or accessing these features, you can disable them at the Workspace level.
Go to your Settings & preferences.
Navigate to the Workspace > General tab.
Scroll down to the AI Features Access section.
Toggle the switch OFF.
Once disabled, the AI options will no longer appear in the editor for any user in your workspace.
