What is Synchronized Style?
Synchronized Style is a powerful feature in the Abyssale Design Builder that allows you to maintain consistent layer properties across all formats of your design. When enabled, any modifications you make to a layer's style properties will automatically sync across every format, saving time and ensuring consistency in your multi-format designs.
How Synchronized Style Works
By default, while layers themselves are shared across formats, their style properties (such as values, colors, decorations, and alignments) can be different in each format. Synchronized Style changes this behavior by automatically applying style changes made in one format to all other formats of your design.
Important: Layer positions are not affected by Synchronized Style and must still be adjusted manually for each format to ensure optimal layout.
Enable Synchronized Style
To enable Synchronized Style:
Open your design in the Design Builder
Click the "A" button in the top-left corner of the editor
In the dropdown menu, locate and click "Synchronize style"
Note: Synchronized Style only affects modifications made after it is enabled. Existing style differences between formats will remain unchanged until you modify those properties.
What Gets Synchronized?
When Synchronized Style is enabled, the following layer properties will sync across formats:
Layer values and content
Colors
Decorative elements
Alignment
Layer styling properties
What Doesn't Get Synchronized?
Layer positions on the canvas
Layer dimensions
Layout-specific properties
Best Practices
When working with Synchronized Style:
Enable the feature before starting your design if you want consistent styling across formats
Consider your multi-format strategy before enabling synchronization
Remember to adjust layer positions manually for each format to maintain proper layout
Disable the feature if you need format-specific styling variations
