How to Undo and Redo changes in the Design Editor

Learn how to quickly reverse or re-apply edits in your Abyssale design using toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts.

Updated over a week ago

We’ve all been there, you move an element or change a color and immediately wish you hadn't. In the Abyssale Design Editor, you don't have to worry about making mistakes. You can easily travel back in time to a previous version of your design.

Using the Toolbar

At the top of your screen in the Design Editor, you will find the main Toolbar. Located right in the center are two curved arrows:

  • Undo (Left Arrow): Reverses your last action.

  • Redo (Right Arrow): Re-applies an action you just undid.

Using Keyboard Shortcuts

For a faster workflow, you can use keyboard shortcuts to manage your edits without moving your mouse.

To Undo an action:

  • Windows: Press Ctrl + Z

  • macOS: Press ⌘ Command + Z

To Redo an action:

  • Windows: Press Ctrl + ⇧ Shift + Z

  • macOS: Press ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + Z

Note: The editor tracks a history of your changes during your current session. If you refresh the page or close the editor, the undo/redo history will be reset.
