Exporting your images in PDF format can have a real interest in some cases, we can quote notably:

  • The creation of an image containing usage and consumption statistics that will be sent to your client on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc...)

  • The need to print your images for display

πŸ’‘ Tip : It is not necessary to recreate a template to have this export method, you can have it in an existing template

How does the PDF generation work?

  • Single, Spreasheet and Form method
It's very simple, during your generation process you can select the file type

  • Dynamic image and Hosted image method
With Dynamic image you can create a dynamic URL that will output in PDF format. The operation remains the same as the normal use of Dynamic Image.
When you generate your image hosting link that is in Print format, the link will display in PDF

πŸ’‘ Tip : we make the text selectable on your PDF

Can I generate PDFs for printing?

Absolutely! To create PDFs optimized for print, you'll need to design a template specifically for print usage. These templates, known as Print type templates, allow you to work with CMYK colors, ensuring accurate color reproduction for printing purposes.

Within the Print type template, you can define bleed margins and safe areas to meet printer requirements. This ensures that your printed materials maintain all details without any loss during the printing process.

Additionally, Print type templates offer flexibility in measurement units, allowing you to work with centimeters or inches for precise positioning. We also provide color profile settings tailored to accommodate various printers, ensuring the best possible output quality.
