Using Abyssale's Design Form Generation feature, you can quickly create variations of your designs through a simple form interface. This can be accessed in two ways: via a shareable link for collaborative use, or directly from your design page for personal use.

We've implemented a system of free generations with quota limits to give our customers the ability to test designs without consuming credits. These quotas are in place to prevent platform abuse while still providing flexibility. Both access methods are subject to these usage limits and will consume credits when exceeding the free quotas.

Generation Quota Limits

Workspace with a Paid Subscription

Each workspace has a generation limit of 10 generations within a 24-hour period. This quota is in place to let you test your design every day at no cost. Once you exceed this limit, your workspace credits will be consumed to allow continued generation.

Workspace in Trial state

Each workspace in trial state has a generation limit of 5 generations within a 24-hour period. This quota is in place to prevent platform abuse. Get a paid subscription to access higher quotas and additional capabilities.

Credit Consumption

When you reach your quota limit, Abyssale automatically switches to using your workspace credits to allow you to continue generating designs without interruption. This ensures your workflow remains unaffected even during high-volume production periods.

Public Sharing with Quick Generation

When you choose to make a design publicly accessible with generation capabilities through the sharing link, the system bypasses the free quota to prevent potential abuse from public users and ensures proper resource allocation.

Common question about this limitation

When can i generate again?

If you reach the generation limit, there is a cooling period that begins from the moment you first receive the quota exceeded notification. After this 24-hour period resets, you can resume generating variations without consuming credits.

Why am i getting a quota exceeded message when i haven't generated anything?

The generation quota applies to the form itself (or to the whole workspace during trial) and is not tracked per individual user. This means if other users have been generating variations using the same form, they may have already consumed the available quota.

For example:

  • User A generates 15 times (10 free + X using credits)

  • User B generates 10 times (consuming credits as the quota is already exceeded)

  • When User C tries to generate, they will immediately use credits even though they haven't personally generated any variations

This shared quota system ensures fair usage of the platform while maintaining the ability to collaborate efficiently on design.
